The preserve at Wilderness Whitetails has the largest Whitetail Deer in the World. Period. It wasn't easy getting here. It was a lot of blood sweat and tears, for many years. But the fact of the matter is that we love what we do and it shows in the quality of the Whitetail herd on our preserve. Over 30 years of professional herd management combined with over a thousand acres of pristine habitat ensures that our guests are in store for the hunt of a lifetime, every time. About The Preserve

Wilderness Whitetail is settled in the pristine Northern Wisconsin woods roughly 10 miles north of Stevens Point Wisconsin. For our guests coming up from warmer states, is always a treat to hunt whitetails in this type of environment. The early season velvet hunts in August & September are just beautiful. Cool weather and the fall colors are something to behold. By the rut, we're starting to see brisk mornings and by late season December hunts, you can expect snow when you arrive. Cooler weather keeps the bucks moving and our guests will see many animals daily from their spacious and heated blinds. There is always something cool to see just around each corner.
