Hunters from around the world flock to Wilderness Whitetails each year to hunt the largest Whitetails in North America. Our deer are so big that Facebook fact checkers actually posted about us. For over 30 years Wilderness Whitetails management program has consistently produced incredible bucks. This year our guests have taken home some of the largest whitetails ever shot on our property.

The secret to our success is patience and consistency. It takes years to effectively manage the deer population in order to promote the kind of genetics we're looking for. We also need to be patient and let the deer roam free, without too much hunting pressure to ensure the deer thrive on our preserve. The preserve is huge, boasting over 1400 acres. Its also the perfect combination of mid-western prairie and Northern Wisconsin hard wood forests, providing the nutrients that big deer need.
